User is a system macro object defined by its specific name (login) and password. Using these login and password users can enter such or such Wialon Hosting interface where they can control their units (end users) or manage the system itself (users-managers).
A user has access rights to interact with other system objects (units, other users, accounts, etc.). These rights are assigned by a system manager. Besides, a user can be a creator of these objects, which also affects right hierarchy. Manager's duty is to skilfully build this hierarchy.
Users as system elements also have some specific applications in Wialon Hosting main interface which is described below (send SMS, control user activity, etc.).
Working with users is possible both in CMS Manager and in the main interface. In CMS Manager, open the Users tab in the navigation panel on the left of the window.
There is a button to create a new user and a filter to search existent users. To see all available users and continue working with them, set and apply some search parameters. Observe results in a table on the right. There you can see users' names, creators (if available) and buttons to delete users.
Standard operations with objects (create, view, edit, copy, delete) were described below. Note that users can be created independently or together with an account.
